Texas Hill Country Arabian HorsesSilver Agave Arabians is nestled in the Texas Hill Country on 21 beautiful acres on Cypress Creek Road between the towns of Comfort and Kerrville, with the fresh waters of Turkey Bottom Creek running through the property, and beautiful country views seen from every vantage point. This makes for a great backdrop to pursue the dream of raising and showing this incredible breed.
As a child, I was mesmerized by seeing Cass Ole (“The Black Stallion”), when visiting my older sister while working at San Antonio Arabians. It would not be until two decades later that a seed of a dream would become a real prospect---to own and breed Arabians.
Having purchased our first Arabians in 2000, Silver Agave Arabians now has grown to several brood mares with exceptional blood lines, and wonderful stallions to pass on the desired qualities to future generations. It is depth of pedigree, quality of motion, and physical beauty - as well as personality and disposition - that exist within every Silver Agave Arabian horse shown on the website. Though it may be “old school” thinking, I believe that integrity in breeding standards, integrity in training techniques, and integrity in handling are all paramount in making this dream a reality. Whether it’s a brood mare in the field, an endurance or sport horse prospect, an English or Western performance horse, or a potential Arabian halter champion – the potential is ready to be realized from Silver Agave Arabians.
The goals of Silver Agave Arabians are to breed for classic and traditional Arabian type, to foster horses that are even-tempered, affectionate, and willing, to enjoy showing them, and to just enjoy sharing life with them.
